Tensions were high at the Wimbledon Round 2 on Thursday as Nick Kyrgios fumed over the amount of time Rafael Nadal took to get ready between points, hitting out at the umpire for not intervening.
The Spaniard took a first-set lead in their highly anticipated grudge match in the second round on Thursday, with Kyrgios broken in his very first service game.
After a while, his booming serve returned, but the Aussie was still hugely irate with the speed at which Nadal was playing, muttering: ‘What’s going on? It’s too long between serves, it’s bulls**t. He just f**king does what he wants.’

It seemed to fire up Kyrgios, though, serving a 143 mph second serve – the fastest at the tournament – before pulling off an underarm to get under Nadal’s skin just as he did in Acapulco earlier this year.
Still, Nadal held to take the first set, but Kyrgios was fuming with the umpire during the changeover for allowing Nadal to take so long, both on his own serve and when the Aussie was getting ready to serve himself.

Umpires should get paid double for every Kyrgios match they have to do.
